With gratitude to Almighty Allah, we are gladly presenting a brief history of our noble College: Sheikh ABDUL-AZEEZ BIN ABDULLAHI BIN BAAZ
SHARIA COLLEGE OF NIGERIA, IWO. This College was founded on the 17th of Shawwal 1408 of the Islamic Calendar, the 1st of June 1988 by Sheikh
 Abdur rasheed Hadiyyatullah (Adiatu).
The College was initially named Sharia College based on the tenet of Islamic Sharia that it offers. This name was later changed to Sheikh Abdul-
Azeez Bin Baaz to mark the demise of our renowned worldly acclaimed Grand Mufti. This is so because of his immense scholarly contributions to the
upliftment of Islamic Institutions and most especially his financially and morally support for the College. It operates under Federal Government
 Registration NO 12,155 dated 8 July, 1999.
Our School is affiliated to both Al-azhar University Cairo and Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria. Our Students have the opportunity to pursue
a Diploma Course and Senior Islamic Secondary courses that will enable them to further their education in Federal Government
 Colleges throughout the country.
